The brief

To incorporate the new Brockhole brand into a fresh new website. This was with the aim to improve the booking process, add clarity to the information visitors to the Brockhole site would want and ultimately improve CRO. We were asked to position Brockhole as the essential destination for visitors to the Lake District.

The approach

An initial workshop enabled us to identify what Brockhole required from their new website. From this, we created bespoke wireframes, taking into account the key information and business requirements from the workshop. The site was built in Umbraco 7 and included bespoke functionality including an event calendar and a live Instagram feed.


We will measure the results from the CRO and bookings from the site using goal tracking. The site incorporates a user-friendly booking system with engaging design, the integration of social channels and data capture features. With these elements and SEO optimisation across the site, we expect to increase organic traffic, see returning visitors and boost conversion rates for online booking.
