This is one of my favourite actionable metrics and a fantastic indicator of your customer’s first impression. As the saying goes “you only get one chance to make a great first impression.” Do you know what first impression your website, and more importantly your landing pages, say about you? How often do you look? If you owned a shop and 80 out of every 100 people that walked through your door turned on their heels and left.... What would you think? Would you do something about it? ... I’m sure you would!

There are several ways I update my Facebook profile. All of which are done using something other than Facebook itself. I use Pinterest, Google+, Twitter, Flipboard, Hootsuite and Instagram…. But not you, Facebook! Apparently I’m worth $100 to Facebook - that’s how they valued the company. Each one of us is worth $100 to them, which made for an interesting first day of trading on 18th May, making over 600 millionaire Facebook employees to boot. But how can I be worth anything to them?
