Popular Liverpool bar, Chameleon, will be celebrating their first birthday and the launch of their brand new website with an exclusive party next week. The popular Colquitt Street bar has attracted a wide audience within its first year of business with students and local business people alike all enjoying the fantastic cocktails, amazing décor and live music.
Kerry Lawler, who co-owns the bar with her husband Matt, said, “I believe our customer service is second to none, our cocktails are amazing, and Chameleon is a safe and happy place.”
In an economy where many businesses are struggling to stay afloat, Chameleon not only opened in 2008 but they have managed to grow and grow in success.
Kerry added, “Chameleon is succeeding because it’s the genuine article and it’s fresh. We haven’t relied on cheap gimmicks as we wanted to produce something that would stand the test of time, not come and go in a flash.”
The new website, which went live today, includes features such as Q Jumping, special offers and a photo gallery which will be regularly updated. Visitors will also be invited to search for what cocktail would suit them dependant on their favourite ingredients. If you’re a fan of gin, try a Chameleon Collins or if you prefer vodka, try a Strawberry Smash.
Those attending the invitation-only birthday bash on Wednesday 16th December can also look forward to a sneak preview of a brand new cocktail menu and gourmet canapés. Chameleon will also be revealing their new addition of a second bar, which has been built to especially cope with busy Saturday nights and make sure they can always offer the best customer service.
Kerry and her husband are now looking forward to 2010 and the future of Chameleon:
“It was always our intention to create a brand – a strong image reflecting a great experience. I think we now have all the foundations laid for that and by the time the economic gloom has lifted and people start getting their jobs back, we’ll be rocking.”
The website, designed by Ph. Creative, is a true reflection of the bar and it will now play an active part in the future success of Chameleon.
Kerry said: “This will now enable us to drive our business forward, linking up with our already successful Facebook page – it will be bang up-to-date with news and events and all our drinks promotions will be web based. We’re really excited about our email marketing and now that Chameleon is what we want it to be we can really start to develop a loyal following.”
